Michael Hughes is the best in CSI4* Sunshine Tour Small Grand Prix

After a Jump-Off with eleven combinations it was USA's Michael Hughes claiming victory in the 1.45m Small Grand Prix at the Sunshine Tour. Hughes speeded to victory aboard the 14-year-old gelding, Eclatant (Berlin).

In the CSI4* Small Grand Prix the pair was only 0.01 seconds faster than Germany's Jana Wargers aboard Clash Royale (Clarimo). Norway's Victoria Gulliksen completed the stage with Thuur Z (Tyson). 

The pair was followed by Slovenia's Gaj Riossa on Entertainer (Warrant), while Italy's Francesco Turturiello and Quite Balou (Quite Capitol) completed the top five.

Earlier reigning European Champion, Martin Fuchs conquered the 1.50m CSI4* Medium Tour with the 9-year-old mare Che Tipa (Casero Della Caccia). With only 0.07 seconds difference Dutch rider, Sanne Thijssen, who won the main class on Friday, followed aboard CHuck 50 (Clarimo).
