French show jumper, Simon Delestre, will make his debute with a new horse this week. Since a short time Delestre has the 8-years-old Toscane d'Aiguilly (Toulon x Cacao Courcelle) in his stables. The pair will now start their international debute, this at the fourstar event in Wiesbaden, Germany. Delestre states he is happy to ride this Toulon-mare. "I hope to bring her to the heighest level." Last year Toscane was ridden by Belgian Ashford-Farm rider, Peter Clemens. In September the pair finished first at the CSI 1.30m in Bonheiden. Before it was French rider Ilivier Perreau who competed her in the Young Horses classes. The combination claimed some victories along the line.
