The 1.50m main class in Moerzeke attracted a nice crowd to support the riders at Sea Coast Stables. In a Jump-Off with eleven, home-rider, Jérôme Guery had to be happy with the runner-up position as Nicolas Delmotte and his SF-gelding, Citadin du Chatellier jumped to victory.
In the CSI4* main class, set at 1.50m height, the Marseillaise sounded at the end, thanks to Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) and his 11-year-old Citadin du Chatellier (L'Arc de Triomphe). With an exact difference of half a second, Belgium's Jérôme Guery followed as runner-up aboard the 10-year-old son of Quality Time, Quality Star Z.
"My horse jumped great, I felt a super connection with Citadin. Even after three days competition the grass arena is still great. This made me confident to take the necessary risks and go all-in for the win," says Delmotte.
Switzerland's Niklaus Rutschi completed the stage aboard his Oxana vd Bisschop (Air Jordan Alpha Z). The pair was just a bit faster as Roger-Yves Bost and Ever de Turan (Kannan).
In front of his home crowd, Gilles Thomas completed the top five with his approved sire, Ermitage Kalone (Catoki).
