Germany's Peter Weinberg will replace soon start his new job as the Belgian show jumping chef d'équipe. Weinberg replaces Dirk Demeersman who stopped his contract with the Belgian federation in November last year. The Belgian federation (KBRSF) has signed a principal agreement with Weinberg. As head coach he will have to appoint his assistant coach later. In the next weeks more details will be discussed between the federation and Weinberg. On a short term Weinberg, the federation and Dirk Demeersman will work together for a smooth transfer. Peter Weinberg lives in Aachen and used to be the assistent coach of the German show jumping team, when Herbert Meier was the official chef d'équipe. Weinberg used to be a part of the German A and B team for over 25 years. Weinberg represented his home country in about 10 Nations Cup competitions.
