Last week, two top horses have left the stables of Pieter Devos and Caroline Poels. SF Equestrian from the Netherlands, since this year also active in the Global Champions League with Bart Bles, becomes the new owner. Pieter sees Gin D, one of his Grand Prix horses, leave his team: "We have Gin D from his first months in our stable, he is a half-brother of my ex-top horses Tekila D and Echo D. Gin D was first successfully trained by my wife Caroline. Since 2 years I took over the reins and I achieved good results with him. In 2017 we won the 3 * GP of Knokke and the Masters of Beervelde. In Lyon 2017, Gin D made its debut at the highest level and we won the 1.60m Equita Masters. Last year, Gin D also jumped clear in the team competition of the Global Champions League several times. In the autumn we were 2nd in the Grand Prix of CSIO Barcelona. After his successful competition in Basel this year there was interest and we decided to sell him. I find it particularly unfortunate because Gin D was a horse that has greatly strengthened my team for the last two years. I wish his new owner and rider a lot of success with the further development of his career. " Furthermore, the promising 9-year old Kriskras DV (Cooper vd Heffinck x Kashmir) will also move to the Netherlands.Kriskras also comes from our own breeding. He jumped with Caroline as 8-year-old at 2-3 * level and they finished 4th in the GP of Waregem. We look forward to seeing him grow with his new rider.
