Richard Vogel unbeatable in Hickstead

  At the Royal Horseshow in Hickstead, Germany's Richard Vogel has conquered the 1.45m CSI5* class just before the kick-off of the Longines Nations Cup. Aboard his 14-year-old KWPN-bred horse, Evermeta (Mr Blue) Vogel jumped to victory in 62,12 seconds.

With over three seconds difference Great-Britain's Matthew Sampson followed with the13-year-old Dutch bred, Fabrice DN (Gelcha's VDL Emilion). Het pair advanced on Joseph Stockdale and his Equine Rescue Services Kandleford (Kannan).

In a fourth place, Alessandra Volpi and Gracieux du Pachis (Tinka's Boy) place faultless while Jorne Sprehe completed the top five aboard Hickstead White (Hickstead).
