Romania wins own Nations Cup

Last weekend, in the middle of no-where, Prod, located in Transylvania, Romania it was that one time of the year again. A bright sun, green fields and over 17 countries present for the CCI1* and AIEC Student Riders Nations Cup. The second Nations cup of this year, surprisingly went to...host country, Romania. Cristian Ceausescu, Raul Ilioi and Bogdan Leonte rode to the overall victory collecting 100 points for the President's Ranking. 11054873_10153363353256340_1951404654894828671_n There was no better surprise for organiser Mihnea Virgolici. Germany followed in a second place while Austria claimed the third spot. The international combined teams do not count for points, that is why number 6, while take the credit for the fourth place points in this Nations Cup. Bringing Belgium into the top 3 of the current President's Ranking. The individual victory was for Katharina Wildling from Austria. The architecture student rode to victory after a nice perormed Kür in music and 6th place show jumping. Belgium's Kaeye Anné was the ultimite winner in the show jumping discipline. Anné took home the Silver medal. Germanies Marcella Oberst completed the individual stage of this year's Nations Cup.
