The French Equestrian Federation has expressed her will to organise the next Olympic 2024 Games in.... The backyard of the Palace in Versailles. This week the Paris candidacy for the 2024 Olympic Games was questioned a lot. The idea is to built the event on the existing historic and urban infrastructure of the city. Meanwhile the French Equestrian Federation has now decided to cooperate in the project. François Lucas, president of the regional equestrian commité, explains that the greenery in combination with the historic setting is the best decorum for the different disciplines. Even more there is a perfect accessibility to the site for visitors and competitors. Also Serge Lecomte, president of the French Federation, has expressed the same benefits to the site. In a letter on January 26, sent to the president of the Senat, Lecomte has asked to grand the Versailles place for the equestrian disciplines for the 2024 Olympics.
