The new international show jumping calendar has some nice surprises coming up. The organisation of the Oostende Equestrian Festival is giving it a try again for the kick-off in 2017 with their CSI4* and CDI3* event in Oostende, Belgium. In France the stables of the castle of Versailles are ready for their first international five-star event. From May 4 until 7 the top of the world will be able to win a total of 530,000 euro. The CSI5* Grand Prix will offer a total of 300,000 euro. If Paris will be appointed the organisation of the 2024 Olympic Games, Versailles will be the place for the equestrian sports.
