This week-end Zangersheide welcomed almost 400 foals at the Z Festival. "Every year it becomes more and more", says an enthusiastic Tom Lemmens from Zangersheide. According to the event director more and more breeders think the Z festival is a bonus. Certainly because one out of five is selected for the big Z-auction in September. On the first day the big winner came out of the second class with Vigo Heywood H Z. This Vigo d'Arsouilles offset has Hickstead's mother as grandmonther. The first class, filled with stallions, was won by Kacento Z (by Kannan). Saturday it was up to the mares to enter in the ring. Some fillies were even more impressive as the stallions presented the day before. Asteria Z, out of Air Jordan Alpha Z, won the first class. Libelle Z van de VD Oever, out of Levisto Z, won the second class.
