After Gerard O'Neill taking the title in the 5 year olds Ethen Ahearne must've felt inspired. In the saddle of ABC Saving Grace (v. Kannan) the Irishman now has the title of World Champion to add to his victory list.
It looked as easy as 1,2,3 for Ahearne and ABC Saving Grace to win her first ever (!) FEI show. The pair stayed clear in a time of 36,74. The silver went with Valentin Pacaud to France. In the saddle of Garance de Vains (v. Diamant de Semilly) he could mount the second block of the stage. Alex David Gill was the first to enter the arena for the jump-off and stayed steady until the finish. Together with Lacoste VDL (v. VDL Zirocco Blue) he took the bronze globe with him.
In fifth position was Astrid Rooms. The Belgian showrider jumped just outside the podium with Queen B van 't Paradijs (v. Elvis ter Putte). In front of her was Giorgio Sacco. The Italian stayed clear and ended fourth with Qionno van 't Merelsnest (v. Kannan).
