In Tokyo, the team competition qualification has just been jumped. The Swedes dominated. They were the only country that did not have a single jumping fault on the way and also did not have any problems with the time allowed.
Among the Belgians, Pieter Devos (Claire Z), Jerome Guery (Quel Homme de Hus- and Gregroy Wathelet (Nevados S) managed to keep all the rails in place, but along the way they picked up a few time penalties. They finished joint second with the Germans.
The ten best countries of today's competition are through to tomorrow's final. They are Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, the USA, France, Great Britain, Brazil, the Netherlands and Argentina.
