This week the Equestrian center in Wellington kicks-off its 12 weeks WEF tour (Winter Equestrian Festival). In the 1.50m class on Saturday  it was USA's own, Adrienne Sternlicht speeding to victory aboard her Cadans Z.

Sternlicht and Cadans Z paired up about a year ago. Before it was Sweden's Sofia Westborg competing the 11-year-old mare. In the 1.50m WEF class Sternlicht and the daughter of Carosso VDL were over one second faster as McLain Ward aboard his new mount Heavenly W (Calvaro FC).

The 8-year-old KWPN-gelding was produced at an international level by Dutch show jumping rider, Vincent Voorn and moved to Gaj Riossa in 2018. This week  Heavenly and McLain debut with success. Canada's Mario Deslauriers completed the stage aboard his Uris de la Roque (Capital).
