A CSI3* competition in Oliva is also quietly ending. Just now, the 1m50 high Grand Prix was run as one of the highlights of the weekend. Of the 53 starting combinations, 11 managed to jump a clear first round. A jump-off with eleven therefore had to decide the winner.
In that jump-off, Sweden's Hannah Akerblom proved the fastest. She was able to record a clear round behind her name in the saddle of Chodec (by Guidam Sohn), stopping the chrono after 41.89 seconds. With this, she was faster than Spaniard Mariano Martinez Bastida, who in turn rode Elixir de Hus (by L'Arc de Triomphe) to second place. This combination managed to keep the clear and finished in 42.56 seconds. Santiago Nunez Riva and Valentino de Hus Z (by Vivaldi du Seigneur) completed the top three after a clear round in 43.72 seconds. Only the top three were able to keep the clear.
Cyril Cools, in the saddle of Cloe Gp Z (by Corrdino), was able to record the fastest lap behind his name, but a jumping fault relegated them to fourth place. Tim Gredley and Medoc de Toxandria (by Der Senaat 111) completed the top five.
