America likely to allow audience during competitions in mid-May

The American Equestrian Federation sees the future bright: after all, it hopes to be able to receive a limited audience again during competitions starting in mid-May. In the US, meanwhile, 1/3 of the inhabitants have had one vaccination. "Therefore, 'normal' life is getting closer again," said Thomas FX O'Mara, the president of the USEF.

"More and more people are getting vaccinated and therefore it looks like public will be allowed again in a good month." He adds, "We must remain vigilant and continue to engage in practices proven to reduce the risk of virus transmission; such as wearing masks, keeping a distance and washing hands."
