Beezie Madden's Garant sold to Callie Schott

USA's top rider, Beezie Madden, has announced the sale of Garant (Warrant x Verdi TN) on her social media. The 11-year-old KWPN gelding will move to the stables of Callie Schott. "In name of Mrs. Abigail Wexner, we are pleased to announce the sale of Garant," Madden writes on Instagram.

Madden and Garant teamed up in 2017. "We call him, "Junior" at the stable, because his character is so similar to that of Authentic. I'm happy Callie Schott will continue to compete him in the sport."

As an 8-year-old, Garant won the Sparkassen Youngster Cup finals in Aachen with Madden. Later the pair topped the CSI4* Longines FEI Worldcup of the American Gold Cup and added a fourth place of the CSI5* Grand Prix of Wellington and a 6th place in the Grand Prix of Grimaud, to the list.

Before Madden took over the reins, it was Dutch rider Willem Greve who competed the gelding. The pair won the World Championships for 5-year-old horses in Lanaken in 2016.
