Belgium riders dominate first day at CSI3* Zandhoven

On the first day of the CSI3* in Zandhoven, Belgium the day resulted in a Belgium party. Double fun for the new organizer, Warren Blust.

The youngster classes kicked-off the international program, with after three times the Belgium anthem. First victory was claimed by Charline Vandergeeten aboard her own Quincy van de Romstee (Kiekeboe x Triomphe de Muze). Together with the chestnut, bred by Louis Floren, Vandergeeten won the class for five-year-old horses.

Compatriot Alexander Kumps won the class for six-year-old horses aboard Corvette 2G Z (Comme Il Faut x Quasimodo vd Molendreef). To top the cherry, it was former Belgium champion who followed winning the class for seven-year-old horses. Vereecke jumped to victory with Bonfois van't Hof V Eversen Z (Bisquet C Balou vd Mispelaere x Nonstop).

In the concluding CSI1* class Sweden's Olivia Kinneson received an extra price with Hilton Princess. Kinneson was rewarded as best female rider of the 1.20m.
