Ben Maher jumps on top in Miami's opener

For a long time it was Dutch Sanne Thijssen who was in the lead of the ranking in the 1.45m international opening class in Miami. With the ocean in the back Thijssen had to recognize her better in Olympic champion, Ben Maher, speeding to victory with the 11-year-old Ginger-Blue.

As second but last starter it was Johnny Pals came close to Maher's time. With half a second difference, Pals in the end jumped to the second place with his 11-year-old Zarkava Hero Z (Zandor Z). Sanne Thijssen eventually settled for a third place aboard her Zeppelin Blue.

The pair was followed by Tobias Meyer with the 12-year-old Cassablanca-H (Conteur) while Jordan Coyle completed the top five with his 10-year-old Centriko Volo (Centadel).
