The Grand Prix of the CSI2* competition was jumped in Sentower Park a few moments ago. The riders were presented with a tough basic course: of the 44 participants, only four managed to jump a clear first round. A jump-off with 4 had to decide the winner. In the end it was the last starter, Bertram Allen, who took the win. He rode Madorada DW (by Bremeersen Adorado) clear through the course in 37.98 seconds.
This left him ahead of Sweden's Angelie von Essen who took second place with Daniel (by Heartbreaker). The duo jumped a clear round and finished in 40.46 seconds. Robinson Maupiler and Very Good de la Bonn (by Berlin) took home third place. They got one jumping fault behind their name and clocked off in 35.31 seconds.
Kim Thiry was the best Belgian in fourth place. He managed to clear a time of 38.56 seconds in the saddle of Casaleo Z (v. Cicero Z van Paemel), but in the process he also got two faults. Torben Köhlbrandt (D-Coroquada I) completed the top five.
