Bertram Allen has announced the sale of the 9-year-old Holsteiner-mare, Carthagena (Mylord Carthago). The mare will move to the United States. Together with Allen, Carthagena only jumped at one competition, last month in Opglabbeek, Belgium.
Until last year it was Russia's Veronika Schhekoturova who competed the mare at a 1.45m international level. Who will take over the reins is yet unknown.
