France's showjumping rider, Titouan Schumacher has announced the passing away of his international horse, Ere des Brimbelles. It was a black day for Schumacher in Bourg-en-Bresse as earlier that day his Grand Prix horse Atome Z got injured.
"This is a black day for all of us. Riding towards jump number six (in the 1.50m qualifier, red.) Atome Z felt weak and got injured. We drove immediately to the nearest clinic. The worst is luckily behind us for Atome Z."
"However later that day, the unthinkable happened. As only 8-years-old, we had to say our goodbyes to our mare, Ere des Brimbelles."
Our condolences to Titouan and his team.
