Brandt and Lynch take non-Belgian victories in Waregem

The last class on the B-arena for today has just ended in Waregem. It was a 1m35 class for riders of the CSI1* competition. While the Belgian riders won almost every class today, it was now up to a German rider to take the victory home: Thomas Brandt. 


Brandt rode Deliah de Semilly (f. Diamant de Semilly) to the finish line in 31,09 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. With this time e beat Belgium's Leslie Goethals who ended on second place with Car Love Epona B (f. Cardento). This Belgian combination jumped a clear round and finished in 31, 52 seconds. Third place went to a Belgian combination as well: Lore Decock rode Heschung Van T Ameldonk (f. Wandor vd Mispelaere) clear ro the finish in 32,05 seconds.

Besides the victory, Thomas Brandt also took the fourth place. He saddled the 10-year old Holsteiner mare Cindy (f. Casall) for this job. Alicia Liénard followed on fifth place with Arikene des Forets (f. Mylord Carthago*HN). 

In the meanwhile a class for 7-year old horses was jumped on the Experza arena. The victory went to Denis Lynch. He rode Cornets Iberio (f. Cornet Obolenksy) clear to the finish in 56,82 seconden. With this time he beat all competition, leaving everyone fare behind. Ruben Romp finished in second place with his KWPN gelding Kiek'N (f. Falaise de Muze). They cleared the course in 60,16 seconds. Filippo Tabarini ended on third place. With Manou de Muze (f. Arko) undet the saddle, he cleared the course in 60,28 seconds.
