Cedric Hurel makes it a home win in Valence

A total of 41 combinations took the start in the 1.50m Longines Ranking class in Valence. In this CSI5* class 12 combinaties qualified for the Jump-Off. Four pairs produced a double clear with Cedric Hurel on top. The French showjumper speeded to victory

Aboard his 11-year-old Fantasio Floreval Z (Florian de la Vie*Bazooka), Hurel jumped to victory in 35.17 seconds, staying over half a second ahead on Marie Pellegrin with her SF-gelding, Valentino des Bleus (Flipper d'Elle*Hn). 

The stage was completely French as Francois Xavier Boudant jumped into a third spot. Boudant placed on stage aboard Brazyl du Mezel (Haloubet de Gorze).

Last clear in the jump-off was Belgium's Rik Hemeryck. Hemeryck guided his son of Nabab de Reve, Morfine de Muze, into a fourth spot while Nicolas Delmotte and Citadin du Chatellier (L'Arc de Triomphe) completed the stage.
