After his splendid victory in Hamburg it is Christian Ahlmann jumping into the lead of the Longines Global Champions Tour ranking. The German show jumping rider advances on a strong Belgium force with Pieter Devos on top.
Ahlmann already impressed in this season's opener in Qatar and now added the cherry on top with a 'home'-win in Hamburg. On stage the German showjumper is followed by Pieter Devos who jumped in the spotlights in Qatar and Mexico.
Two fellow Belgian show jumping riders follow. Niels Bruynseels is currently sitting in a third position while rising star, Gilles Thomas is fourth. The Grand Prix winner of Mexico, Ludger Beerbaum settles for a fifth place in the ranking.
