Normally the FEI doesn't allow two 5* events at the same moment, but there are exceptions. Now the FEI also approved the revised date for the LGCT Shanghai which will overlap with the CSI5* World Cup in Helsinki, taking place October 23 - 25.
Both organisations agreed with the decision. As the LGCT in Shanghai is important for the development and growth of the equestrian sports in Asia, the LGCT got a green light.
Both organisations will allow riders to choose without conflicting in LGCT rules. Further both events will promote each other, while be aware it will be a rider's choise.
