The highlight of the three days of international jumping sport was the hard 1m45 Grand Prix of Ghent. After a challenging first round, only six combinations managed to jump a clear first round and came back for the jump-off.
Only two riders managed to keep the zero on the score board in the jump-off. The first rider to start was Niklas Krieg and Carella 5 (f. Clearway). They immediately jumped a clear round in 35,40 seconds. In the end the Dutch rider Daan Van Geel jumped an even faster round with the 12-year old Canturano son Diam.
The Belgian rider Viktor Daem ended on third place with Magic van de Bien (f. Cicero Z van Paemel). This Belgian rider rode the fastest time in 33,75 seconds but got one penalty for jumping. Jeroen de Winter ended on fourth place with Leandro VG (f. Gitano v Berkbroeck). Simon Delestre and Qoplot Batilly Z (f. Classic Bois Margot) ended fifth.
