Daniel Coyle and Farrel VDL top the Ocala World Cup competition

Aboard the 10-year-old KWPN-gelding, Ireland's Daniel Coyle conquered the Worldcup competition in Ocala. After a Jump-Off with only eight combinations the pair set the record time of 37.05 seconds.

Farrel is a son of Cardento, bred by Dutch studfarm, VDL Stud. The winning pair was followed on stage by USA's Margie Engle with the 11-year-old Dicas (Diarado). Adrienne Sternlicht completed the stage aboard her Cristalline (Cristallo 1).

A total of five combinations produced a clear Jump-Off round. Devin Ryan followed in a fourth spot.

Together with Caspar's Lasino (Berlin), Ryan was followed by Jens Baackmann with Carmen (Cornet Obolensky).
