It was an exciting competition in the 1.250.000 euro LGCT super Grand Prix in Prague. The 1.60m class, ridden over two rounds, delivered top sport. In the end it was Germany's, Daniel Deusser claiming the over 300.000 euro first place!
After the first round it was Belgium's Pieter Devos and his 15-year-old Kannan-mare, Mom's Toupie de la Roque who was in the lead. The pair was just one tenth of a second faster as Daniel Deusser aboard his 14-year-old Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve). Third was Harrie Smolders (NED) with Evergate Stables' Monaco N.O.P. (Cassini II).
The first to set a double clear in this super Grand Prix was Germany's Katrin Eckermann and Cala Mandia (Capistrano 2). The German female rider felt the excitement when Harrie Smolders and his 13-year-old Monaco jumped one rail down. However compatriot, Daniel Deusser managed to best Eckermann her performance, just before last rider, Pieter Devos took the start.
