Deusser and Bingo Ste Hermelle on top in Bordeaux

In Bordeaux the 1.50m main class was competed directly on time. There was no holding back Daniel Deusser who confirmed his great shape. "Bingo is in such good shape, we could take the necessary risks today."

In the 1.50m Longines Ranking it was Germany's Daniel Deusser taking the lead and holding on it. Last weekend Deusser impressed with  Bingo Ste Hermelle (Number One d'Iso) in Amsterdam's main class. Together with the 12-year-old SF-sire, Deusser repeated his form speeding to victory in 58.96 seconds.

SF Equestrian-rider, Jur Vrieling (NED) was closest to the time of Deusser, following as runner-up with the 12-year-old sBs-gelding, Fiumicino van de Kalevallei (Plot Blue). The Dutch referred, Belgium's Wilm Vermeir with his 10-year-old Enola Gay of Two Notes Z (Emerald) to the third spot.

In front of his home crowd, Olivier Robert (FRA) placed fourth with the 14-year-old Vangog du Mas Garnier (Cornet Obolensky) leaving Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and VDL Grand Slam in fifth.

"Starting at the beginning of the class, I knew I had to give it my best shot, still playing safe, to put the pressure on the other combinations," Deusser says. "I knew some of the other combinations wouldn't have an issue in beating me, like Henrik von Eckermann, who I think took off a bit to fast."

"My horse has a natural speed and is in such good shape I however had the best feeling today. Bingo showed some really great performances in the past weeks and just confirmed his shape today."
