While anticipation awaits for the 1.60m LGCT Grand Prix in Paris, Brazil's Eduardo Pereira De Menezes jumped to victory in the CSI5* 1.45m class in Paris. Aboard his own 12-year-old, Calypso des Matis (Padock du Plessis HN) the Brazilian rider was the only one to finish faultless in under 25 seconds.
Menezes was followed by Michael Pender and Marion Hughes' bred HHS Fortune (Catoki). Great-Britain's Scott Brash completed the stage aboard the 10-year-old SF-mare, Hello Vittoria (Kannan).
The pair was followed by Sophie Hinners and Ghia Pe (Gem of India), while Oliver Lazarus completed the top five aboard Miss Paris (Messenger).
