Harrie Smolders followed closely in second place, with exactly one second difference, riding his 12-year-old horse Escape (Emerald). Marc Houtzager completed the top three in front of the home crowd, riding Sterrehof's Dante (Canturano).
Henk Frederiks and Impian D (VDL Bubalo) claimed the fourth position, while Kevin Jochems and Casillas van de Helle (Casall) took the fifth spot.
