In Sharjah the day began with a CSI3* 1.45m Grand Prix qualifier. The riders proved to be in great shape as the fight for a clear round in this class against te clock, came to a thrilling close. In the end Emanuele Gaudiano claimed victory in this GP qualification and recorded a very sharp time, no one else could come close to.
Emanuele Gaudiano could count on Vasco 118 (by Vivant) to set the winning time of 65,67 seconds. Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi came close to Gaudiano's time, but nog close enough. In het saddle of Coenig (by Cordobes i) he crossed the finish line in 66,74 seconds and ended up second. Shane Breen also proved to be in great shape and rode with Lady Star Van Dorperheide (by Zilverstar T) to a third place in a time of 66,82 seconds.
Laith Ali (Camelia De La Vigne) ended in fourth place. Georgia Tame (Z7 Ascot) took home the fifth place.
