Former team doctor German showjumping and dressage horses deceased in plane crash

The former team doctor of the German team, Björn Nolting, has died in a plane crash. The German equestrian sports federation announced this itself. Nolting was a very famous doctor, he coached the Olympic team five times. 

He retired as team doctor after the controversial decision to treat Cornet Obolensky with lactanase during the 2008 Hong King Games. The rider of the horse, Marco Kutscher, was suspended by the FEI for this.
