French combinations dominate main number Doha with Staut in the lead

In Doha the main event of the day was just held: a 1m55 class with jump-off. Of the 33 participants eight managed to jump a clear first round. A jump-off with eight had to decide the winner.

That winner became the fast Frenchman Kevin Staut. He was the last to start in the jump-off and managed to match Simon Delestre's time, who had been leading up to that point, by half a second. He counted on Toleddo de Mescam Harcour (by Mylord Carthago) to jump a clear round in 35.87 seconds.

As a result, Simon Delestre had to make peace with second place. Riding Hermes Ryan (by Hugo Gesmeray), he left all the bars in the spoons and clocked off in 36.32 seconds. Max Kühner completed the podium with Vancouver Dreams (by; Valentino). They jumped a clear round and finished in 36.84 seconds.

Christian Kukuk (Checker 47) and Mark Mcauley (Jasco vd Bisschop) completed the top five.
