At the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the CSI5* Grand Prix win was handed out after a Jump-Off with twelve. A total of seven pairs managed to produce a double clear. The fastest time was jumped by Switzerland's Martin Fuchs aboard his 12-year-old KWPN-gelding, Leone Jei.
Fuchs and the son of Baltic VDL (breeder: G.M. Van Mersbergen) were narrowly faster than Belgium's Gregory Wathelet and his SF stallion, Bond Jamesbond de Hay. The Belgian was the last to start in the jump-off but failed to improve upon Fuchs' time.
Wathelet and his 13-year-old son of Diamant de Semilly thus relegated Steve Guerdat with Dynamix de Belheme (Snaike de Blondel) to third place.
The Swiss duo was followed by Robert Whitaker who, aboard Vermento (Argento), stayed ahead of Giulia Martinengo Marquet and Delta Del'Isle (Tibet Tame).
