With nine entries, they entered the jump-off of the 1.40m Junior Grand Prix in Opglabbeek. Louis Lambrecht secured a spot on the podium in front of his home crowd. The victory in the competition went to Gary Dooley riding the 8-year-old Csf Olympic Jewel (Mylord Carthago*HN).
Dooley and his Irish-bred daughter of Mylord Carthago*HN narrowly edged out the Swedish rider, Mathilda Hansson, with the BWP gelding, Obelix vd Berghoeve (Dublin Van Overis). Louis Lambrecht secured the best Belgian result, riding Cevrine du BAnney Z (Chippendale Z) flawlessly to third place.
The duo was over half a second faster than Margault Blanchard. The Swiss rider stayed ahead with A Touch Of Royal Cyrano (Cyrano), beating out Greta Veske and Jabiola (Emerald).
