German competition immediately stopped by authorities

As of today, 'real' competition may take place again in a number of German states. However, today a competition was stopped immediately by the local authorities. After all, there was a formal flaw in the approval process.

Competitions for non-professional riders have been taking place all over Germany for several weeks. From this week, however, amateur riders may also compete in the competition ring again.

The competition in Böbs was completely ready for the action this morning. Two days ago, the competition received official approval and registrations therefore poured in. The competition made every effort to follow the corona measures. For example, no public was allowed, mouth masks were provided and it was ensured that the distance and hygiene rules could be respected.

In the middle of the day, however, something turned out to be wrong. The competition was shut down by the venue authorities."It was a formal error in the approval process, the name and address were missing," said organizer Schultz.
