It was an exciting Nations Cup competition today in Vilamoura. After the first round everything seemed possible, Eventually it was the last rider at the start who decided in favor of Germany.
The German jumping squad speeded to victory in the 1.45m Nations Cup. For Germany it were Richard Vogel aboard Floyo VDL (Baltic VDL), Jens Baackmann with Aglaia J (Arpeggio), Guido Klatte Jr. with Qinghai (Quidam de Revel) and David Will aboard C Vier 2 (Cardento 933) who took the start.
The latter pair was the only to keep a double clear securing the gold for Germany. France followed as runner-up with 3 points difference while Italy claimed bronze.
