Hans-Dieter Dreher secures German victory in CSI3* Grand Prix of Wiener Neustadt

In Wiener Neustadt, the final class of the weekend was on the programme today: the Grand Prix of the CSI3* competition. They riders were presented with a very tough basic course: only four of them managed to record a clear basic round behind their names.

In a jump-off of four, it was Hans-Dieter Dreher who came out on top. He counted on the 14-year-old Vestmalle des Cotis (by Baloubet du Rouet) to jump clear in 34,67 seconds. This kept him ahead of Jur Vrieling who rode Griffin van de Heffinck (. Castelino van de Helle) to second place. This combination was able to keep the clear and clocked off in 35.94 seconds. Sophie Hinners completed the top three. She counted on Thalma Gastak (by Heartbeat) to jump clear to the finish in 36.60 seconds. 

Karin Martinsen (Tailomrade Concha Balou) and Angelos Touloupis (Lord Mexx) finished fourth and fifth respectively.
