Has our sport to much turned into a 'money-game' show?

The countdown for the 2024 Olympic Games is busy, when top athletes will gather in Paris. The equestrian sports will not only be present in Paris but also in 2028 in Los Angelos, and most likely in 2032 in BRisbane. But the Olympic future of our sport is uncertain. "We are an old sport and very expensive to organize..." it sounds. "Biggest problem? Our sport has turned into a show, a show for the rich..." but is this true?

The older generation of top level riders have a particular look on the evolution of our sport. "Horse Welfare and show have to go hand in hand, but unfortunately  today talented showjumping riders miss opportunities as they lack financial aids..."
