Misfortune continues to haunt Dutch showjumping rider, Kars Bonhof and Team Nijhof's Hernandez TN N.O.P.. Earlier the combination had to forfait at the Dutch national jumping championships in Deurne. Now Bonhof also has to stop his Olympic dream for Paris. "The Games will come to early. Hernandez TN got injured and his recovery will take to long," confirmed Bonhof to Equnews.

The stallion got injured and this injury needs to be 100% healed before he can start to train again. "It's not a very severe injury, but still - one that needs to be 100% healed before we can start training again. Timing-wise it could get worse..."

Bonhof and Hernandez competed the first round at the end of April in Deurne. But after had to forfait. Recently Bonhof also declared in an interview to DPG Media, that the stallion has 100% confidence in his rider, despite jumping the highest level with just one eye. "His character is golden! I extremely respect him!" Bonhof said.
