At the Andalucia Sunshine Tour the four star headliners of the day came to a thrilling close. In the Big Tour it was Holly Smith who went home with the gold while Michael Pender scored a second victory in a row in the Medium Tour.
Holly Smith and the nine-year-old Azolette (by Commisaris) raced to victory in the 32,22 seconds. Frederike Staack and Copain du Perchet CH (by Conteur) settled for second place with a time of 33,66 seconds. Marcus Westergren and Fellaini de Liebri Z (by Faustino de Tili) completed the top three placings with the third best time of 34,86 seconds.
Antonia Andersson (Tora) and Emma Augier De Moussac (Homey) ended in fourth and fifth place.
In the CSI4* 1.45m Medium Tour it was once again Michael Pender and HHS Fortune (by Catoki) who proved to be the strongest today with a very fast time of 24,54 seconds. Ellen Whitaker followed in second place in the saddle of the eleven-year-old Fiona des Hayettes (by Lord des Hayettes) in 25,19 seconds. Yuri Mansur could count on Away Semilly (by Diamant de Semilly) to stop the clock on 26,02 seconds and ended in third place.
William Fletcher (Ginadina PP) and Andre Reichmann (Quinetto Z) shared fourth place.
