The vet inspection of the 6-year-olds was eventful. Out of a field of 33, 31 started in the showjumping.Only 6 of them managed a clear round inside the time of 76’’ among which the new championsIngrid Klimke (GER) and CASCAMARA (WESTF. by CASCADELLO II). She retained her dressage 2ndposition after cross-country.

As they jumped in reverse order, her clear round may have put some pressure on the provisionnalleader Tom McEwen and MHS BROWN JACK (ISH by OBOS QUALITY) who dropped down to 6th place.Britain’s Oliver Townend and ROSALENT (ISH by VALENT) score a beautiful clear round for final 2nd.T

he Nederlands’s Merel Blom and CORMINTA VOM GWICK (HOLST. by CORMINT), 5th after crosscountry, climbed up the 3rd.21st after dressage and double clear Cathal Daniels and LEB EMPRESS (ISH by OBOS QUALITY) managed to finish an impressive 5th.

Best of the French contingent is Karim-Florent Laghouag riding EMBRUN DE RENO (SF par ELIOTT MC) 10th.
