Ireland's Mark McAuley on top in Valence's Ranking class

Just before the kick-off of the CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix in Valence, it was Ireland's Mark McAuley who speeded to victory in the 1.50m Longines Ranking. After a Jump-Off with ten, McAuley won aboard the son of Flyinge Quite Easy 958, Miebello. The combination was the only to finish clear in under 37 seconds.

On stage Sweden's Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli followed aboard the 11-year-old Nintender Star (Nintender x Star Kingdom). The pair was followed by Gregory Cottard and Cocaine du Val (Mylord Carthago).

Only four combinations produced a double clear round. With Tinka's Hero Z (Tinka's Boy) France's Simon Delestre placed fourth while Bertram Allen and Fts Killossery Konfusion (Siec Livello) jumped into a fifth place.
