Next weekend the national dressage championships are on the programme in Germany. Isabell Werth, who has been virtually unbeaten since the early 90s when it comes to the German championship title, will not count on Weihegold (by Blue Horse Don Schufro) this time. She won the title last year in the saddle of this mare.
"I will start next week with Bella Rose (by Bellisimo Z) and Quantanz (by Quaterback)," she says. "I have discussed this with all the people involved in the dressage committee."
The German rider has four horses that could qualify for the Games and the European Championships. The committee therefore agreed that Weihegold has already proven herself sufficiently and should not necessarily be competing again during the observation round in Balve.
