Jens Fredricson 'out' with broken rib. "Hope to compete in Stockholm next month!"

Sweden's showjumping rider, Jens Fredricson is forced to step aside from the sport for a while. Fredricson broke his rib after a fall in the Jönköping Horse Show Grand Prix last weekend.

The Swedish jumper and his son by Emerald, El Baron 111 Z doubted riding towards the fence, after which Fredricson fell of his horse and broke a rib. The Swedish rider is now forced to forfait for the FEI Worldcup competition in Stuttgart.

"I hope to be back in the saddle and ready for the Stockholm horse show next month. Therefor I need to give my body the time to restore," Fredricson says.
