In Montefalco this weekend there was jumping at CSI4* level. The highlight of the day was a 1m55 GP qualification in which riders could not only secure a place in the Grand Prix, ranking points could also be earned. Nine combinations managed to qualify for the jump-off. So a jump-off with nine would decide the winner. That winner ended up being Ireland's Jessica Burke. She rode Express Trend (by Future Trend) clear in 38.56 seconds, enough to take the victory in her name.
Pius Schwizer followed with Ambrioso d'Alcy (by Cabdula du Tillard) in second place. The duo left the wood untouched and clocked off in 39.14 seconds. Richard Howley completed the top three. His Mansini LTD (by Caressini L) did not come close to the wood and clocked off in 39.25 seconds.
Fourth and fifth place went to Bryan Balsiger and Robin Muhr. Balsiger counted on Dubai du Bois Pinchet (by Kashmir van Schuttershof) to jump a clear round in 39.28 seconds; Muhr was able to record a clear round behind his name with Emillio de Gree (by Viana de Gree).
