Major League Show Jumping concluded a stunning week in Mexico at Otomí Residencial Hípico in San Miguel de Allende with a win for Ireland’s Jordan Coyle (IRL) and Boston Ask in the $725,000 Rosewood Grand Prix CSI 2*.
Boston Ask (13-year-old Hanoverian gelding by Berlin x Quidam de Revel) joined Coyle and owner Elan Farm’s string at the start of 2021 with high hopes. Sunday’s win marks their second international victory together. From a seven-horse jump-off, Coyle edged out runner up Jana Wargers (GER) and Chacco’s Lady 2 by less than two tenths of a second, registering a penalty-free jump-off effort in 40.23 seconds compared to the German’s final time of 40.40 seconds.
Bliss Heers (USA) rounded out the podium with Christos in third place, matching the double clear of the latter two while completing their second effort in 42.62 seconds.
