Former Belgian champion, Jos Verlooy has announced the sportive retirement of his Championship horse, Varoune. "It is with mixed feelings we have decided the incredible Varoune is retiring from the jumping world." Verlooy says.
"Varoune has given us years of sporting pleasure. Together, we became Belgian champions three times in a row. When we became Belgian champions for the first time in 2019, Varoune's ability became clear. Ultimately, we leaped to the title three times."
"Furthermore, the duo also won the 1.60m CSI4* Grand Prix in Salzburg, placed during the Sopot Nations Cup, and impressed, among other things, in Valkenswaard!"
