The 1.60m Grand Prix was a hard nut to crack in Bordeaux. Only four combinations qualified for the Jump-Off. Eventually it was France's Julien Epaillard keeping the win in France aboard his 12-year-old Queeletta (Quality).

Epaillard was the only rider to produce a clear Jump-Off round in this 1.60m Grand Prix. Aboard the 12-year-old, Queeletta, Epaillard as such won this difficult Grand Prix referring Felicie Bertrand to the runner-up position with the 14-year-old SF-mare, Sultane Des Ibis (Quidam de Revel).
Dutch show jumping rider, Maikel van der Vleuten completed the stage. Van der Vleuten placed third with one time penalty with the 12-year-old KWPN-mare, Dana Blue (Mr. Blue).
The pair was followed by Pius Schwizer aboard Cas (Casall), while Michael Jung completed the top five with the 15-year-old Sportsmann S (Stolzenberg).
